It would be a pretty cool feature to have on the truck

Trouble is, bumper won't hold enough air in and of itself to air up four large tires. You need a pretty good volume of air for that. 'bout the only way you are going to be able to manage it, is with some flavor of compressor you can have out on the trail with you. (on-board air. )

I guess that makes sense, I never tried it but figuring the width of the bed prolly 4 or more inches deep and maybe 6" tall it held a good bit. Functional things like that are kinda cool to me

I was planning to do that (with a compressor attached) to my '72 before I put the plate steel bumper on, I had a .250 wall 8" diameter tube mounted as the bumper already. I just hadn't sealed it off yet. I think its a cool idea.

We did the same thing with an old Jeep Gladiator (pickup truck). Used one of the York compressors, as brackets were easily available for it. Was nice to have.

I used to want a gladiator REALLY bad, before I was driving, before I was turned on to 70's dodges. I was going to buy a 67 J2000 lifted on 35's with no motor or tranny for $400, but dad said no

He's always been scared of motor/tranny swaps/drops and those kinds of things. I think he's getting past it though, watching me rip into this truck and put it back together all the time.

It was a cool off-roader, basically indestructible, and unstickable..... but it most certainly was NOT comfortable.
