Default What gears

Ive got a 1995 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9 im tryin to figure out what gears i have in my rearend i havent really found a way to know yet and i was wonderin if anyone knew how to find out thanks

There should be two tags bolted on the differential. One of them is the gear ratio.

Or get a build sheet from dodge. That will tell you what was in there from the factory at any rate.

Nope. Completely free. (my favorite price.) There is a thread with a link in the faq section to the form to get one directly from chrysler via email, or, take your vin to the dealership, and they can print one off for ya.
