help getting intake off

Default help getting intake off

Ive got all 12 bolts off&not even sure if i needed to but took of egr valve,all lines fuel rail etc&still wont come off feels like something on the back by the dizzy is holding it down am I supposed to pull the distributor?Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

Probably just stuck. Dist doesn't need to come out. Use something to try and pry it up to break it loose.

Im gonna go count my bolts&double check had to take a breather,found some burnt vac lines...hopefully I can get those knocked out&get my hvac back to normal.

It looks like a steel tube with a nut connected to pass side of intske.Any idea how to get it off?

EGR tube. Heavy use of chemicals, and possibly heat...... and the right size wrench.

From the exhaust manifold..... not sure which is easier to get at though.... take yer pick. See if you can get a new one for not much money, and if so, just cut it.

Yeah I just seen that on exhaust,Man I cant get this thing to budge&Im afraid on starting a fire if I use heat.With all the fuel&oil since the rest of the intake is off.

Keep a CO2 fire extinguisher handy.... Or, if you can find a new one, just cut it, deal with it later. Exhaust flows thru there, so, the fittings tend to corrode, and basically weld themselves together....
