Default dodge ram coil springs on a dodge dakota

I'm looking to add an inexpensive lift to tthe dakota. Its a 99 sport 2wd v6 3.9l. I was wondering If I could take coil springs off a dodge ram 1500 or 2500 and get those to fit on a dakota? I assume that they would and that I would need to use either the ram shocks or longer shocks? Could anyone tell me if this can be done or any other ways to swap coil springs from another vehicle to give me 3 or 4 inches of lift? I figure after that I can put blocks in the rear and have a cheap lift to give me some added height. Let me know thanks

not to be rude but i have a feeling this is something that has not been talked about and seems fine to be placed here.. as for op's question. measure your coils(width) and compair to a ram..

Go to the parts store, and ask to look at one of each. (hoping they have a set for each on the shelf. Check the diameter of the springs on top and bottom, and if they are the same, should be able to drop 'em in.
