perf engine questions.
Here's a dyno comparison of the stock keg vs. air gap, vs. M1 2 and 4 bbl manifolds. Unfortunately, the chart starts at 2500 RPM..... and what we are most interested in, is below that.....
That dyno is with no tune. You cannot expect a tune designed to work with X manifold will yield the best results on Y manifold. If you look you can also find where Hughes did a dyno with the Airgap and an SCT tune and it blew away the keg everywhere.
My wittle 5.2 also put down the same torque at 2500RPM as that 5.9 did with a keg.

I got here in i believe 07 and theres som many 2md gen around its not even funny. a lot of them wereoriginally anchorage owned. the same year rnge chevys and fords also riegn up here lol. lots of these truck new and old. and the towns growing tremendously
thanks for the input guys. you know i like the m1 but... speed dosent get a whole lot higher than 60 mph and my low end up to about 20 mph sucks then im thrown back up until 55. i really believe adding more power to the lower end would knock almost a whole or half sec off the 0-60 times as the low end just isint up to par. as mid to high. i might end up going with the kegger and the tq cam. obviously roller rockers. i would love about 250-280 mabye slighly higher hp to the wheels. and would love to add anothe 50-60 ft lbs of tq. im waiting until next winter but want to buy a part each month so its not a wallet crusher you know.. im not going crazy and still use my truck as a truck to haul and commute but also have fun so 5,000 rpm and below sound like a more reasonable reach. I might pay the bill and get those edlebrock ones.. im guessing your talking about the aluminum performer ones?? i would love to be at about a 6 sec 0-60 and if I can keep my 3.55 and have the motor ba able to supply the lower end. but gears just keep coming up as such a plus... and did see those 4.56 videos. i swear one guy with boltons did a 60 in 5 seconds flat. thanks for the input as im curious how others view these parts and most importantly bang for buck and where the power comes to play in the rpm band.
I check out hi po tek and im liking a few cams there. hate to sound dumb but what is LSA or lobe seperation angle.
http://stores.hi-potek.com/-strse-27...lic/Detail.bok this one or
http://stores.hi-potek.com/-strse-26...lic/Detail.bok this one. im almost leaning more towards this one as its good for 3.55's good low end tq and hp and still good economy with a slightly more noticeable idle. that with valve springs and roller rockers ought to be good. mabye the perfromer heads on there too. and the kegger with my mopar pcm would be great. i want a cam I can basically switch between my mopar pcm for summer and stocker in the winter. icy roads etc. dont help with too much tuning.

or http://stores.hi-potek.com/-strse-17...RHS/Detail.bok.. this guy has everything. i work at an auto store so i can get some of this for cheaper but still this guy has decent prices. id get valve covers if hes willing to match jegs' 191.35 or something like that.
