TB spacer does all of nothing on our engines. They were designed for carbed/tb injected engines, to mix the air/fuel a bit more. Our engines are port fuel injected, fuel isn't introduced until right in front of the intake valve. The improvement you felt was probably more from removing the restriction, than any possible benefit from having the tb sit a bit higher. (which is... none....)

Ok its doing it again. It ran great for a couple of weeks but its stalling after starting again. Not as bad but it is. Its not that big of deal as it goes after a few starts and revs but I its real anoying and I dont want it to lead to a bigger problem. I can smell a bit of gas on the start which wasnt there in the past. Any ideas? Thanks

Like has been stated, lose the TB spacer dude. And while you take it off, get a small mirror and a flashlight and check the inside of the intake for oil pooling at the corners. And just so you know, cleaning the IAC does not mean it's good to go. And make sure anytime you fool with the sensors (like unplug them to remove TB) remove the negative battery cable first.
