Building a 5.2 for boost
LOLOLOLOLOL.
Thank you captain obvious..... Oh, wait, that's a different member....
Wow, intense is correct. Looks REALLY sharp. I like it.
Can you GET 3 1/2 inches lower without dragging the frame on the ground???

Frames already there, currently taking 4 inches out of the top side of the frame snd going to gusset and box it in, cut out and raise the trans tunnel and lower the body over the frame so when the suspension is aired out the rockers are on the ground.
I'm extremely familiar with playing with boost, I current have a 91lx with a 408w that wears a pair of 6768s that makes alittle over 1200hp at the wheels on e85.
But what I don't is what these motors can handle (stock 5.0 splits at 14psi and 566hp ;-)) thats why I figured I'd throw the best pistons money can buy and a decent set of rods but its the crank and block I was concerned with. Only looking for mid 300hp at the wheel to back up its looks.

Basically the problem is there is an open loop time delay, so you punch and it's gonna be lean for a second until the delay is up and it kicks into open loop. The "solution" is to force open loop all the time but that sucks IMO and usually the AFRs like to do whatever they want when out of boost (or so it seems hearing others talk about their boost tunes). I've seen enough poorly tuned boosted magnum stuff online tuned by Hemifever that there's no way I'd tolerate it.
My simple MSD BTM and fuel only Megasquirt install works really well and was stupid simple to wire up, but it's not as good as having full timing control (which Megasquirt can do, with stock cam/crank sensors).
