Hows the software with the megasquirt? Is it DOS based like Motech or a more user friendly windows based like my FAST XFI? I obviously don't want to sink the money into this like I did my car and I know the the MS stuff is alot more cost prohibiting.

MS is pretty cheap compared to other standalones

Download TunerStudioMS and play around, I think it's very user friendly.

Here is a good read on boosting a bone stock 5.9 that includes dyno sheets. 6lbs you can keep the kegger, but at 10 lbs, you will want a M1 intake (one piece).

http://www.bionicdodge.com/bionic/in...p?topic=9467.0

6lbs will get you about 308HP and gobs of tq
10 lbs will get you over 400 HP.

These are rear wheel numbers on a bone stock setup! NOW, how long that truck will last is another thing.

Looks like I should beable to hit my goal easy with a little built 318. Might just have to shoot for 400hp and call it a day.

And thats with just a sct tune? No standalone...hmmmm.

Well to my surprise lastnight my buddy had brought over the Procharger that I had bought from him and the minute I saw the box I knew something was up. Turns out the kit is a Paxton novi 1000 which I can't find any info on. Can anyone help?

Said part is that I won't be using half the stuff. Already have full -6 fuel lines, regulator and pump. Won't be needing the hat with injectors.

That was with a SCT tune, however the truck was dyno tuned with the tuner PRESENT during the dyno pulls to make changes on the fly.

Also, you will need new injectors despite having a regulator. The 6AN rails are really just for show.
