Since it is the same axle with the same pinion gear, the better yoke will bolt right on. So as long as the U-joint size is the same, the yoke will be a direct swap.

Don't you have a Dana 60 or 70 though? I'm talking about the Chrysler 9.25.

If it's a direct replacement, I'll upgrade, if not I guess I'll just settle for bouncing driveshafts on the freeway.

That is, I'll upgrade with wrecking yard parts, not from the dealership. Hell, that thing costs as much as my diff.
That is insanely high for such a plain, fist sized chunk of steel. If you can't find one at a junk yard then give these guys a call http://mintonmotorsinc.com/ they should have one.

For anyone that doesn't know what the yoke I'm talking about looks like, here's a picture

You are right, I just thought what people were saying is anything from 2000 up, not just 1500's with the 9.25. Oh well, great job on the no smoking btw. I'm still fighting with it. My doctor is gonna be pissed when I go to Mass General next month If I don't stop. LOL Sorry for off topic.

Still waiting on a new yoke, should be here monday or tuesday. I would love to have one of those plate yokes than my ***-tastic band one. But oh well, whatever gets the job done.
