Lockers and gears
+1 4.56 = 35" tires is closest power and rpm level to stock which was deemed the best for gas mileage not power.... even with 4.56 gears and 35" tires it will be just as weak as stock.... people assume 4.56 gears will use more fuel and have high rpms.... not with 35" or larger tires it wont....

I got 4.88 and Powertrax No-slip locker.
I thought my RPM would be too high, but I can still cruse at 70 with ease.
I'm running 35" BFG Muds.
But I don't use my truck everyday. I sue it to get some large stuff, go wheeling, tow trailer camping.

4.56's. So that when you DO go to 35's you will not have anything to worry about. Also, the engine will still be in a very comfortable range with 33's.
Agreed with the above statements. You figure you want a 3.92 with 31-32s 4.1s with a 33" and 4.56 with 35". These numbers will put you back into the stock range of say a 3.55 or 3.92 on the 31s. Personally if I could afford it, I would just get the 4.56:1 gears as you'll get a bit more oomph out of them, and if you choose to go up to a 35" tire you'll already be prepared for it.
Now for lockers I can't really help you out much. This is something I plan to eventually do with my 9.25 in the rear, given I only have 3.55s but its whatever.
