Yeaaa that doesn't sound like the R&P set's fault haha I wouldn't be scared to run G2's if they were cheaper.

Got some parts for the 9.25 axle:
Motive gear 4.10 ring and pinion
Motive gear master install kit with timken bearings
Detroit True Trac

Going to have it installed next tuesday

Going to be regearing the front later. I was looking at motives gears and they only offer 4.09 for the D44, will i have to go with another company to get the same 4.10 ratio to match the rear axle?

No. 4.09 is the exact same thing. Your tires change the final drive ratio more than that, since they are never the exact same size

^^ It was a toss up between the Truetrac and the auburn lsd, from all the reviews i read everyone seemed to like the truetrac the most. So i figured for only 100 hundred dollars more i might as well get the truetrac.

2X1972 your truck looks really good with the 35`s on it.

That's exactly what I did, and got a Richmond R&P for ~$220.

Bought the few tools I needed that I didn't have for far less than what labor would have cost and now it's a done deal. Reinstalled the rear about a month ago and all's well.

I've heard too many stories of guys paying a shop, only to have to go back in and redo the job over themselves. This way I know for sure it's been done right. If you're wondering about the reinstall part, I took the rear end out of the truck to work on it. A little more work, but all I have at the moment is a gravel driveway to work in.

^^^ were in the same boat then, i do all my work in a gravel driveway. Wouldnt it be nice to have a garage? I actually have a family friend who owns a shop so he is going to do it pretty cheap.
