Default Thats why the limited slip doesn't work anymore

I changed the rear diff fluid and found these pieces laying at the bottom. Most of them are parts of the dodge limited slip and one happens to be a tooth off of my ring gear. There are no noises from the diff when driving, so i have no idea when it happened.

A little searching here on DF will tell you that's a fairly common problem.

Wow, they are pretty proud of those parts..... r&p can be had for less online, install kit as well. (like, 300 bucks for both......) not much you can do about labor, and the LSD.

You can get a Yukon posi for about 350 and the install kit for about 100.

^^^^ i live in canada so parts are always more than they are in the states. I have been on websites such as summit and others and have seen much lower prices on ring and pinions however by the time i ship it and pay duty at the border they end up costing as much as they are up here.

And believe it or not those are discounted prices on the parts The retail on the LSD was $1059, the r & p was $450 and the install kit was $399

Does anyone run G2 gears and if not has anyone heard anything bad about them? My choices are G2, Motive gear, Richmond,
G2 is the cheapest motive is in the middle and Richmond is very expensive.
