Got the 3D Printed throttle body from UTA last week. This thing is awesome..
It'll be interesting to see how well it performs.
Going to run a Specter low profile air hat.
Pulled the 6 pack intake and will strip the throttle bodies off and send the lower base back to F&B to see if they can find out why it's leaking.
I'm getting really tired of seeing my engine looking like this.
Intake base ready to go back to F&B.
I got a email from F&B and they found the issue with the intake and are repairing it. I should have the intake back NLT 15 Sept. But I've already got the Air Gap intake and the throttle body so I'm not planning on putting the 6 pack back on.
Got an email back from F&B and they found the issue with the intake base. It had warped when they were welding on the injector bungs or changing the bolt pattern to a magnum. Either way they told me that I'm not an idiot and that even with the thicker intake gaskets that it was warped enough it would never have sealed. So they are currently repairing it and will be sending it back once it's done.
Went ahead and reinstalled the windage tray.
It fits fine underneath the Air Gap. Did a dry test fit first,
Then put Right Stuff on the china walls and installed the manifold gaskets and torqued it down.
It fits great and after having that 6 pack on there it's amazing the amount of room.
I'll retorque it just to make sure and then start reassembly.
Are you going to reinstall the six-pack? I rather liked the look of that.
No, after all the issues when I finally decided to buy the Air Gap I'd decided that I wouldn't run it. While it was KEWL and it would have been fun to pop the hood and show off that intake it really wasn't practical for the Jeep.

Yeah, ok. That seems reasonable. It certainly had the cool factor though.
