You and me BOTH....

I am wishing I'd stuck with the Air Gap long time ago. The BIG reason back then was that there wasn't any high flowing 2 barrel TB's then. I think the max back then was 850 cfm or 900 cfm max. Now there are tb's that will flow up to 1300 cfm so figuring out stuff is easier. The 4 barrel tb's would flow 1200 cfm but no one makes brackets for the throttle & TV cables.
This was the BIG push back then to go with the 6 pack.

I'm going to give Marty's 108 x 56 mm mono blade tb.

108mm x 56mm Monoblade Throttle Body V8 (stock core required) (utawesomeperformance.com)

Hopefully this will cure all my drivability issues and I'll actually be able to drive the Jeep before winter.

That's quite the throttle body. Good luck!

Since I can't run the engine my OBA doesn't work so I've got the Jeep hooked up to shop air instead. I have air springs (air bags) instead of coil springs so I can adjust the height of the Jeep depending on what I'm doing.

Here' a few pictures of the Jeep. When it's sitting on the bumpstops the frame is 19" off the ground and it has a 101" WB

A view from the front.

Then with the air springs filled up with air & it as high as it'll go the frame is now 28.5" off the ground.

Looks pretty good. Just need that new intake so I can take it out and drive it.

Finally got the box to put the self latching relay into for the O/D light. Got things all wired up and then installed it into the Jeep. It takes 12V supply of power & then the input from the O/D indicator wire off the PDC.

Works nicely.

Then I installed the final panel on the center console.

Of course one I got it installed I remembered that I had one more thing that I needed to do inside the console so I'll have to take it back off.

Getting close to where I can install the passenger side seat and will just about be done with the interior.

Love the Winters Sidewinder shifter! I run a similar model Winters shifter in my '69 Dart.
