So I double checked the pushrod length this morning first thing and verified that I had the correct length then ordered them and they'll be here Wednesday.

Then I media blasted the power steering pump bracket and the alternator & A/C bracket so I could paint them. While each coat was drying I installed the motor mounts that are made by Advanced Adapters. For those that don't know this the cast mounts on the drivers side are narrower on the 5.9 compared to a 5.2.

To fix that Advanced Adapters includes spacers with the motor mounts but since I'd had a shop do the 5.2 install for me I didn't have the spacers. So I'd ordered them a while back for this day.

Not a major issue and everything bolts up.

All done on the drivers side.

The passenger side fit with no issues.

Next I JUST HAD to see how this was going to look on my engine since I'd never seen one mounted on a block before. So enjoy a little eye candy.

Now the only question is will it fit under the hood of my Jeep????

And then I threw the valve covers on real fast just to look at them again.

Parts are done and dry so it was time to get going..

First up was the power steering pump.

Then install the pulley onto the pump. It's nice to have the right tools sometimes and this is one of them.

Pulley all the way installed.

Next was the alternator & A/C bracket.

Mounted and ready for parts.

Then I also installed the York compressor for my onboard air system.

And while looking for parts I found some plugs in the correct size for those 2 bungs in the oil pan.

There’s an engine in there somewhere, behind all those accessories

That's looking damn good Rick. It's making me want to build another one.
is the hood going to close with that intake on? It looks rather tall, but oh so sexy.

I honestly don't know and I don't have a stock intake sitting around that I can take measurements off of to see what the differences are. If I have to cut the hood I will.

Just so you know there are kits they will allow you to run a York and AC compressor. That looks damn sexy!!

I do have a question why did you use the LA motor mounts and not the magnum ones

I have one of those kits that was made by Kilby Air back around 2004-2005. I didn't know that there was anyone else making brackets for the magnum V-8.

The motor mounts I have are sold thru Advanced Adapters.

Frankie,
Can you do me a favor? Can you measure from the top of your throttle body to the base of the intake manifold? That would give be an idea how much taller the 6-pack is.

Thanks

I'm showing about 9.75" from top of valley to to top of throttle body. Camera angle is looking down a little, so it shows closer to 10".

Edit:
Yours doesn't look as tall seeing the rest of the hardware on the front, so you're probably fine. It just looked really tall from the front with nothing else there.
