Fandango good sir! Well I will go with advancing it and when I get the SCT tuner here in the near future I will be sure to let them know. Since the crank is advanced 4* the cam will be actually 2* advanced over stock?

That depends on your timing set, and what you are referring to as "crank advance". According to popular theory, if the timing set says +4, that is what you should actually get on your cam timing. I think.

Just wondering which timing set would be better, the mopar performance double roller or the comp cams double roller set? I've heard good things about both, but unsure which would hold up better.

The comp cams is: http://www.compperformancegroupstore..._Code=LATiming

Mopar Performance:

If you can find a JP performance set, that's the one I'd use. Actually, I did model number 5985. It's tight as a ****, you might have to finger sand the inside of it to make a bit of room on the crank snout, but it's so damn tight that even with the natural stretch, it'll stay tight.

If not the JP, then either would be fine, but I'd run the Chain Tensioner from Mopar Performance

Ok great info! So if I use the JP set I won't need the tensioner correct? But if I use the other chain sets and use the tensioner it says to use the tensioner instead of the cam thrust washer. So I guess I would put the tensioner on without the OEM thrust washer on the end of the camshaft then cam gear then bolt it down? Oh! I almost forgot, will advancing my cam timing be harmful with the 1.7 rockers I'm also installing?

Well I bought that set you recommended. So you said I shouldn't need the tensioner with this set correct? Now with advancing the cam timing 4* will my 1.7 roller rockers be ok?

There are less expensive alternatives... Cloyes, Comp Cams, etc. Check on Jegs, and Summit. Also, don't forget to check with your local parts stores as well.
