Who made this muffler?

Bought a 99 Ram 1500 a couple of years ago and always liked the exhaust sound from the muffler. Well it rotted out and fell off. Nowhere does it say who made it just a couple of stampings on the case that are rusted badly. The ends looks a little bit like a Flowmaster and size wise similar to a series 50 but not stamped.

Looked at Flowmaster and other sites, none of those had baffles which run the same direction or type.
One option I have is to make a new case for it and weld it up. The replacment "performance" muffler I put on sounds like its got a plug in it and whistles so it isn't staying on.
Update: Cut it open, found 5 baffles inside that run side to side.

I drove my 1998 Durango for a few years with the stock exhaust system. Soon after I installed some shorty headers, a Flowmaster, and a CAT back dual exhaust. Sounded good but man the drone at higher RPMs was not only deafening but drove you mad on long trips.
So a few years ago when the muffler started to rust away, I replaced the Flowmaster with a Magnaflow and MAN it sounds AWESOME. I was SOOOOO happy with the change from Flowmaster to Magnaflow.
It's has a great low gurgle at idle, not so loud that I have to shut down at drive through windows, but loud enough that people look when I start the engine or drive up when someone's not looking.
The real joy is the sound it produces when playing around in the RPM band. It sounds best down low but sure doesn't hold back when goosing it. It's deep and throaty and roars instead of droning.
The Magnaflow is perhaps a tad more quiet than a Flowmaster...and honestly, after having both...that's fine with me.
I am aware that my shorty headers really wake up an exhaust system, and that the same system on stock exhaust manifolds would be more docile but I think I'd be just as happy.
In fact, with my Ram, I intend on replacing the stock muffler with a Magnaflow muffler and duals again. I'll leave the manifolds but I'm expecting it'll be fabulous.

After some investigating and new info, the muffler was made by Ravin' and replaced by Midas in 2005. Production of the muffler stopped in 2007 so I guess I am SOL for a new one.
