no spark/no start

Default no spark/no start

hello everyone i am new here so please bear with me.. i have a 1996 ram 1500 5.2 V8. i replaced the crank and bearings in it and reinstalled the motor into the truck. after all wireing was hooked back up the ASD relay was clicking very fast. after unhooking the wires off both O2 sencers they would stop.. when tried to hook computer up to data link computer blacks out when the key is turned on.. could someone give me some ideas have racked my brain for 4 days now....

have replaced the cps already. could the asd still be the problem and if so why would the O2 cause the relay to click ?

PCM could be shot..could have messed up the coil--->and no spark..does it crank?

Check the numerous grounds. Battery to engine, batt to fender, batt to frame. Then firewall to right head. Make sure they are all clean and tight.

check BOTH grounds on the power steering bracket. will cause the asd relay to click if one isnt hooked right. also will cause a no spark situation, and no bus errors.

yes the truck cranks fine just no spark.

i will check all grounds again.. when checking the coil for volts i noticed both wires were hot. and the PCM grounds the coil if i am correct. but still not sure why data link goes dead when key is turned on, will ground issue cause this?

Did the crank sensor get installed after the motor was in? If not make sure the wire is not pinched between motor and trans housing.
