46RE to NV4500 transmission swap on 1996 Ram 1500

Haha sure... I have a little propane heater but it just warms my hands... The big wood stove doesn't have a chimney installed yet so that is not a viable option... So I am working on getting the flywheel to crankshaft bolts for the new flywheel. NOTE FOR ALL who wish to do this conversion: If you are converting from a AUTOMATIC to a manual you will need the MANUAL transmission flywheel bolts. You will not be able to reuse the flexplate to crankshaft bolts as they are too short. If you are converting from a NV3500 to a NV4500 you will need to touch nothing with your flywheel.

I got a new flywheel since getting a used one and resurfacing it cost about the same. I do have a new pilot bearing but have not installed it yet (Gets installed just before I put the clutch on).

Yeah, not much progress made lately, got a good friend coming over tomorrow to help (yay!!!) who is also much bigger than me so should help a lot! I did have the engine running to verify my sensor setup. So taking the auto CKPS and putting one lock washer under each side to compensate for the larger flywheel used on the manuals does work very well.
How much does it cost? Well I won't have any exact figures until I am done, but so far here's what I have paid and estimate to pay:
Have paid:
-$2865 for the transmission, bellhousing, shift tower, shift lever, and transfer case shipped to Iowa. I was able to get a little bit of a discount because I have a small repair shop. Also, if anyone wants to get a tranny or tcase or both from this place let me know and I will put a word in for you.
- Roughly another $500 in misc hardware and parts including the shift lever boot, fluids, pedal assy, etc.
What more? Well I don't see anything major, mostly little hardware such as a bolt or something... Oh, and I am also waiting on the dust cover from Wombat LOL.
Note: Much thanks goes to Wombat Ranger for helping me through the means of hundreds of text messages! Without his help it would have been a lot more frustrating and time consuming!
