Ok found the problem. Truck runs but either the wiring or solenoids in the tranny are shorting out , so how hard is it to change those out. Truck will run with tranny wires unhooked

How hard depends on which solenoids you have to replace. The TCC/OD Solenoid is slightly more difficult to replace than the governor solenoid.

But the governor solenoid and pressure sensor themselves don't have any wiring, they each connect to a clip with all the wires.

The TCC/OD Solenoid has wires that run from the 8 pin connector to the solenoid assembly on the other side of the valve body.

You can unplug the 8 PIN Connector, you'll have NO automatic function, you'll have to shift through the gears manually.

I wouldn't think you'd get by unplugging the actual solenoids and still have some sense of a working transmission, but I could be wrong...

Drop the pan, and inspect the wiring. Might be as easy as moving the harness around some, and covering the chaffed wire.

Got the truck runnin and drivin. I just bought a tranny from a buddy for 125 and swapped the valve body with wires and solenoids. Any ways i appreciate all the help guys. Now my next problem lol. Alt isnt charging. I replaced it b/c i was reading 11.4v off the big stud on the back. The new alt read the same so i took it back to get tested. 3 tests in a row showed 14.8v. What wires do i need to check and what voltage should i be looking for to trace this problem

Getting a manual will help, they have wiring schematics in them. And it sure would be nice if you put all the info about your truck in your sig and profile.
