No, sir. This truck has a 46RH for sure and is an OBDII truck. Many times Dodge has cross over model years and stuff changes mid-year. For certain, this truck has a 46RH from the factory. Also has the switch on the dash for overdrive on/off. I also have a matching 46RH that I've had a HD rebuild done to that I'm going to swap into the truck soon.

1996 model RAMs are definitely a conversion year for the 46RH vs. 46RE transmissions. My Ram 2500 SLT 4x4 is very early in the '96 model year (production date is 11-95). The PCM is part #56040892 and the truck is OBDII. HeyYou, what is your production date?
