^They will be Yukon brand 4.88 gears instead of Motive, see the note at the end.

edit: no carrier change needed for the rear. You can use thick cut gears for the front, or use "regular cut" with a 3.92 and up sized carrier.

I bought mine from completeoffroad.com. It all came as a package deal, I just called them and told them I wanted a thick cut for the front. My gears and LSD rebuild kit was around 650 ish.

seeing as in how the OP has 3.55 gears YES he will need a new carrier in the rear.. The front needs thick cut...

I read other threads where people swapped in 4.88 in the rear with no carrier change...but idk from experience

Carrier break is at 3.92.. Have to upgrade it for anything over that

That's news to me.. the 4x4 shop that did my gears said there was a carrier break of 3.92... Good to know that's not true.
