on top of that you didnt even have LT tires.... just plain jane passenger tires.... me thinks you need to be placed in a mental institution for a bit.
This is the first I have seen this picture.... Yea the wheels are touching but with that much weight off your steer tires and a fully loaded trailer the first time you make a quick turn to avoid something you will wonder why your trailer is now driving your truck...

I see. Also I will answer to redneck, those are not passenger tires. They are cooper discovery 265/75/r15 st/c 8-ply e4 tires. Unless the tire place was wrong they told me they were good tires for towing and off-road.

So do you think a dually could handle 15K?

It's abundantly clear that you have time to be on this forum asking reDONKulous questions.

You need to get off this site and go to IOWA Department of Transportation to bone up on your states vehicle code!!

Additionally, get the specs of said mystical 3500 or w/e flavor!!

So you're a poker player, I take it? Or has donk entered the general lexicon and I'm just unaware of it?

Oops sorry. I get it now. CDL vs non-cdl. Ok. I will have to check again.

At first I didn't quite understand what you were getting at, but I realized it later. So just be patient with me. I'll get your points, just might take a little time. That is the way I am. I hope you can all understand that and remember it. (Thanks, it helps me if you do.)

Ok, CDL laws in Iowa:

CDL Class A For a combination vehicle with a gross combined weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more where the gross vehicle weight rating of the towed unit is 10,001 or more pounds.

That's the one for trailer towing.
