There is a fella on here who has a turbo on his 5.2... Maybe he will chime in or you can send him a private message.. I beleive his username is Hahns 5.2

What kind of power are you looking for, more power at low rpms or higher up?

Since you're doing a rebuild why not just do a 390 stroker? Would probably yield same power output in a far more reliable manner not to mention eliminating any fab work.

I didn't even think about suggesting that.

And not to sound like an @ss, but punctuation helps too. I now have a headache.

But yes, it is possible. There are a couple threads here about boost. And IIRC, it is Hahns 5.2 .

Power wise I just would like around 300_325 hp but I want around 425 tq I figure it will male what it wants. I'm use to a 2500lb car with 350 rwhp and 305tq so driveing this truck to me is slow its hard to merge onto 95 just getting to 55_65 mph is a struggle and I don't want to beat on it just to get there I do plain on running 35 inch tires so I know that will hurt my acceleration . This truck only sees snow and cold wether. I'm also just not a fan of supercharges and with the stroker kit I'd rather do a stroked 5.9l some day. I figure this little 318 and some boost should be enough for me now . I have seen a few threads that that guy Hamas5.2 (sp) chimed in I know that's not how to spell.that sorry lol well I'm off to work

Make the engine that's in it run right first. Make sure the plenum is good, and everything else is up to snuff. Going from a high horsepower, light vehicle, to an underpowered truck.... yeah, there IS going to be a performance difference.

Yea that's what I thought so I figured a rebuild and the kegger mod but then thought why not just put a turbo on it and run the other Air gap intake manifold. U know it's low on power and very sluggish now. Not that this is related but thought I'd give a link to a fuel calculator and a good company for fuel parts http://www.deatschwerks.com/resources/fuel-calculators/
