Default And the build begins, SEMA 13 or bust!

Well after much anticipation I have finally been able to get my truck back into the shop and on the hoist for the rebuild.

The truck is being rebuilt for SEMA 13, it was originally built back in 02 for SEMA and I figured its time for a rebuild.

The plan

Full chassis sporting a stock floor body drop on 22x8.5 and 24x15 raceline explosions in 6 lug. Chevy front spindles with custom upper and lower control arms. Narrowed ford 9" with posi and 4.11 gears. 14" viper rotors paired with zo6 calipers. Motor is back from the machine shop and ready to get painted and assemblied.

What kind of power you think you'll get out of those?

Thanks guys, the combined census looks to be in the low 400rwhp range. In fact I have made a judgement call on the cam to go more for sound over performance (I can see you guys shaking your heads) lol. I made the call solely based on the fact that this will more then likely spend most of its life parked and driving around shows rather then out tearing up the street.

I understand the sound over performance thing. My cam choice in my 318 I put in my bagged Mazda was just for sound too. If I had lift and shop like yours I might could get mine finished lol.

Looks like a nice setup y'all have, if only I had a little piece of that. Kinda hard to work outside when it's 20 degrees out lol.

Well everything slowed to a halt while waiting on parts to show up. Anyways we got the wheels in after waiting for 3 months only to have the powder coat be no where near the color of the truck so we sent them back and waited another 6 weeks. Now they are here and beautiful, all polished up! The front suspension will be in Monday as well as the tires for the front. Custom 4 link bars went out yesterday so I expect them Tuesday.
