Central axle disconnect. It's on the passenger side of the front axle. Vacuum controlled from a switch on the t-case.

Shold i check the switch itself or the vacuum lines? And does anyone have a routing diagram for the vacuum lines?

Mine had a leak in the rubber vacuum manifold that presses onto the switch on the T-Case. While running, in 2wd, pull the hoses (ONE AT A TIME) at the CAD. Feel for vacuum on one hoses. Put it into 4x4 now. Check again, there should be vacuum to the other hose now. of not, you either have a vacuum leak at one of the hoses, switch or the switch itself is bad. If you don't get vacuum at all, there's a vacuum leak leading up to the switch from the back of the engine.
