Wonder if that was an option the original owner opted for?

have no idea. but i was very disapointed..
i thought that the 3.55 only spun one tire. mine spins both on a burnout. ive seen countless others that only had a one tire fire. they all had the 3.55..

Posi is a product of the carrier, not the gears. You probably have the stock true-trak in there, which has been reported to be a bit weak, but, it IS rebuildable.

Oh ok.. well in that case i guess mine needs to be rebuilt. I only get both tires spinning when i do a brakestand burnout. Any other time it just spins one. I noticed when i first got the truck i was ble to fishtail around a corner.. now i coulnt do it to save my life just one tire spins.. any idea wut i would need and how much parts would go?

In that case, the gears are irrelevant. Posi is a part of the carrier. The gears simply bolt TO the carrier. Clutchs and such for the posi action are inside the carrier.

Oh. So if i rebuild it with that kit. With the 410 it should go back to the way it was? Just alot stronger?

You will have better bottom end power due to the gears, and it will hook better (both tires) due to the new clutches.

Yes, I think you will like it.
