I have the auto tranny. And no there doesn't appear to be any waffles cookin ��
If my belt tensioner was worn out, would it just cause the belts to be a bit looser? My A/C doesn't work either not sure why haven't looked at it since it's the dead of winter up here

Looser belts would mean they are slipping.

As for your A/C, try checking the clutch. Mine was old, worn out and seized. Got one from a scrapyard and haven't had any problems since.
