Question New Speakers help

Can anyone tell me how to remove the front and rear door panels and what size the speakers are, along with what tools/parts I will need to do this? Thanks

Pop the door panel off with a screw driver or something flat. Be gentle
Disconnect the speakers
If you have infinity speakers just ditch the amps and run new wires
The front are 6x9s don't remember the back
Get a wiring diagram
Get wire cutters, and electrical tape/heat shrink
Google if you get stuck

I did some research on the infinity system. Whats the easiest way to just get rid of the entire infinity system? I already have a pioneer head unit.

Infinity speakers on these trucks suck , at least mine did on two different trucks..pull panels off gently, but get some new tabs for popping panels back on after replacing with some good speakers...as some of the tabs will be worthless after prying panel off.

Should I just screw the amps on to the new speakers?

Not to take it too far off topic but would I have the infinity system in my 97 ram? I'm looking to replace my two front speakers with better ones too.

If you have the infinity system, it will say so on the head unit, and various other places.

Oh well i have a different head unit but what would the size of the speakers be if i didn't have the infinity system? I want to put Kicker 6x9s in the doors before i do my sub setup.

fronts are 6x9s and rears are 5.25, some claim you can fit 6.5. but i call bs unless your carving out the opening. all infinity systems are not labeled directly on the head unit or the speaker panels. you usually have the infinity if you have tweeters. easiest way to go about eliminating the system is to rewire, which i have not done yet. since it is time consuming.
