Starting Into New Speakers/Subs/Amps. Got Some Questions

I don't recommend running those low powered Kickers, they only 150watts each, you will easily overpower those kickers with the amps you are looking at, look for minimum of 250watt RMS! And dual voice coil would be better. Make sure you get the right ohm subs, run at 1 or 2ohms when all wired up, that way amp is loudest. Running 4ohm load on many amps cuts power output in half.
Kenwood amps are good except the joy **** does not control amp gain(volume) it only controls freq bass boost. Volume can only be adjusted on the amp itself, and then on the head unit.
I'm running 2 Rockford Fosgate 10" P2S subs(low profile, 250w RMS each) in a JL Stealthbox, completely concealed under the rear bench seat. These subs are great, only thing is they took a long time to break in before they sounded good and boomy, about 1 year with low usage.
Also don't bother with the 4 channel amp at first if you on a budget, run the midrange off the deck, add amp later if you decide you still need it.

Well I actually found a nice deal I think I going to go with. A local guy is selling 2 10" Rockford Fosgate P1 subs with a Kennwood 700w amp and a plexiglass box. All for $120. I'll sell that box cause I need to get my custom box. Everything is in great shape besides the box is missing two plastic pieces or somethin? He said I could get them at walmart.
The subs are rated at 250w each but can handle up to 1000 he said.
What's everyone think? I been told not to buy used but this is a good deal and he'll even meet me at my house.

But the subs are only rated 150w each and 300w peak according to the sticker on the subs.
