Default P1740 engine code

About 20 minutes ago, my check engine light came on. I stopped, cycled the key three times, and read p1740 on the information center. (2001 Ram, 5.9, 4x4) Sadly, I researched and quickly found out it has to do with the transmission. Has anyone else had this code? If so, what did it end up being? I'm going to change the filter and fluid tomorrow and delete the code to see if it stays off. The truck is not slipping/ jumping out of gear, or even operating any differently. I am slightly worried about this, responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

Delete check valve, do the work you referenced, and hope for the best.

Since you are taking the pan off, You should replace the TCC/OD solenoid assembly(since that's what the code is telling you), the gov solenoid(with a Borg Warner),the gov pressure switch, and install a drain plug in the pan. Yes, do the CV delete, but I doubt that's what's causing the code.
