i know i have a whine in the diff. The diff isn't factory but is still 3.55. I notice no slippae in the tranny as of yet. and my speedometer isnt off since ive driven past one of those things on the side of the road that tell you your speed. i guess the tranny is indeed on its way out. it was run half full for 10k-15k miles, but ive got that under control now.

Get on the highway and drive at 60 or 70. Push the OD button on shifter, and I am bettting that other than th dash light illuminating, nothing changes.

As each possible outcome takes troublehooting in entirely different directions, check and see what it does first.
