I was thinking as that dizzy has two outputs one could be used as the ckps and the other for fuel sync, if the dizzy can be set up that way. Something to look into I guess. Ty.

Problem is, it gives out 8 pulses per two crankshaft revolutions. Cam sensor is On for one revolution, off for one revolution. PCM wouldn't know which injector to fire.

I wonder if something like this could be used, get rid of the ckps on the back of the motor. HeyYou what's your thoughts on using a dizzy like this? You think the pcm would take to it?

How did the shaft get bent in the first place?
From every one I've talked to its either one of 2 things. First being that the cam gear for the distrubutor is toast or the cams on its way out. Second being that itwasnt getting enough oil and just from revving the engine up screwed the shaft

Likewise and sadly the junkyards here have nothing for these trucks and nothing decent in the way of a parts truck which would be nice to have as well

Call Softy's see what they give you for a price. I called Piston Ring Supply over on Wall street and there price was $179 with exchange and they have in stock. Are all those auto wreckers still out St Vital/South Lagimodiere Blvd way?
