It's not the mechanism with a rod connected to it right behind the glovebox? If not, is it behind the plastic bulge held on with two screws on the tranny hump?

The motor for the blend door is the one by the tranny hump. One of the screws is quite hard to get to. But right now you just want to see if it (the motor) turns or if it's jammed.

The silver piece coming out of the center of the actuator I guess it is, does not turn on any setting. Would it be worth my whole to check and see if all lines are hooked up in the control panel for the A/C and heat? Heat blows out of every setting of fan speed/temp/and location.

When you move the dial (hot to cold) on the control panel does the motor do anything at all?

No movement at all from the motor. I assume I'm suppose to be looking at the silver piece in the middle of it.

So the motor makes no noise and does not even move like maybe a 1/8" in either direction?

In that case you might be lucky and don't have to take the HVAC box back out. Either the motor itself is bad, the control panel is bad or the wiring. Now all you have to do is figure out which one.
