Default Vibration

Hi. I'm new here and to dodge trucks. I have a 2000 sport 4x4. I have a vibration over 60 mph and also in between 15-20 mph. Front drivers tire is showing wear on inside and I've read on here that a bad ball joint can cause vibration. I'm confused because it only does it at certain speeds. And i didnt know bad bj could cause vibration. I'm going to put u joints to rule them out. And it needs a front end alignment so I'm sure they'll notice a bad ball joint. Is there anything else I should be checking. Thanks in advance

How about tires? Being that worn, they can't be in balance, and they probably aren't safe.

Rotate the tires, see if the vibration changes. (I bet it does.....)

Trying to find a vibe with a bad tire on the truck is a waste of time, put your spare tire on in its place (if the spare is in good shape that is) then start hunting the vibe down. Not to sure if shops still offer a free front end inspection, if they do take the truck in and get it checked out so you know what needs replacing before you go in for the alignment.

OK, Rotate and go from there. Tires only have about 6 k on them and the other three look like new. Just driver side front is showing inside wear. Not even close to bad, but not showing even wear. I'll rotate the tires and see what happens and let you know. Thanks for your help.

Check your Stabilizer shock, Ball joints, Tie Rods, and Drag/ Center link. After I replaced all necessary parts, i still have the vibration, but had it aligned and completed/ fixed the problem.

Do you feel the vibration in the steering wheel or the whole truck. Check the rear driveshaft ujoints and rear wheel bearings also.
