1995 dodge dodge 1500 5.2l help!!!!!
OK ill try and make this short.
problems.
poor acceleration from take off.
when putting pedal to the floor at hwy speeds it loads up no acceleration.
between speeds of 10 to 40 at a steady speed the truck likes to jerk back and forth.
fixes so far with no luck.
new exhaust with new cat new upstream o2 sensor.
new tps sensor
new plugs.
cleaned injectors
rain fuel system cleaner through tank.
sprayed break cleaner around intake manifold no change in idle so as far as i know no vacuum leaks.
im stumped no idea what to do its getting really annoying mind you the check engine light is not on.
any help or suggestions would be awesome. please im not looking to be criticized im really needing some advise here.
thanks again

CEL on?
Have you checked your plenum? That gives a serious vacuum leak, that you can't find with brake cleaner. (internal to the engine.)
Possible EGR valve malfunction..... have a look at all the associated parts, some of them like to melt....
Check fuel pressure as well. Should be around 39PSI at idle.
Compression test? How is the cap and rotor? (pain to get to.....)

i was planning on doing the cap and rotor next.
as far a he plenum plate iv pulled the throttle body and theres no oil build up in the intake.
the egr valve is gunna be a real pain to get to but. but when i pulled it lastnight the check engine light came on.
the cel hasnt come on on its own thats whats getting me.

good news problem fixed.
so the issue i was having recap stumbling back and forth, loading up, loss of power when i put the pedal to the floor.
SOLVED.
replaced the o2 sensor and put new cat with 3 inch pipe to flowmaster.
no more issues with the truck as far as that goes drives like a dream.

That means the plenum is blown. Fix it asap, before the new cat and o2 are destroyed again. Mopar PCV valve also.
