well acutually up here the premixed stuff is $2 cheaper than the concentrated stuff here but getting 1 gallon of concentrated stuff and 1 gallon of distilled water even if it was to cost $4 more would still be cheaper than buying 1/2 a gallon of water for $15

I'm bringing this thread back up cause i had some questions.

I went ahead and ordered my tune up stuff from summit which included:

Stant Lev-R Radiator Cap: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/snn-10331

Davis Unified Ignition Cap and Rotor Kit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dui-35200rd

Taylor ThunderVolt 8.2mm Spark Plug Wire Set: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tay-84276

Stage 8 Locking Header Bolt Kits (For my Pacesetter shorties I'm getting Saturday) : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/stg-8935

I do got a question though..... Which bypass hose do i need and which do i not need?
GOODYEAR Part # 63064 I.D. 1.000"; Length 4"
Molded; Cut to Fit

GOODYEAR Part # 63333 I.D. 0.620"; Length 17"
Molded; Restrictor To Engine

I'll keep the list updated on what I buy. I plan on getting the plenum belly pan off the guy on ebay that is a member on here today too. Then i have a bigger list on RockAuto to order.

Thanks zman!

Here's everything I'm ordering from RockAuto later this week:

FEL-PRO Part # MS95392 Set
Lower set; Upper set incl.; Manifold bolts not incl.; Manifold bolt replacement recommended

FEL-PRO Part # ES72169
Int. manifold bolts w/Washers; Replacement recommended

FEL-PRO Part # TCS45996
w/o Sleeve 'N' Seal®; Must be used w/OS34408R; PermaDryPlus® timing cover Gasket. incl

CLOYES Part # C3028X Incl. Cam Sprocket; Double Roller Chain; Heavy Duty Timing Set
3 Keyway Crank Sprocket; Incl. Cam Sprocket; Double Roller Chain; Heavy Duty Timing Set

GOODYEAR Part # 63064 I.D. 1.000"; Length 4"

VARIOUS MFR Part # CH3014105 (I need this because mine leaks)
3.9L/5.2L/5.9L; w/o Cap; Coolant recovery tank

Timing Chain Tensioner off of mopartsracing for $31.95

Does all that sound right and is it everything i need for my tune up? I don't think I'll need new o2 sensers because I'm getting a whole new magnaflow high flow cat when i put my Pacesetters on.

Do i need a new coil or would the one in it be fine?

I would use plain old copper core plugs, champs or autolite. Up to you.

And no need to replace the coil.

You will also need a good set of header gaskets - everyone has their own personal thoughts of the 'best' header gaskets. Listed below are some options:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mr...iew/make/dodge

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sc...iew/make/dodge

I personally use SCE copper gaskets, along with some Permatex Orange RTV to ward off dreaded header leaks.

+1 for the copper core plugs. I personally prefer Autolite, as they have performed very well for me over the years - very tough plugs!

When installing your plug wires, helpful to use a touch of dielectric grease inside the spark plug boots - makes them easy to remove off the spark plugs later.. A little dab on a q-tip to apply them to the inside of the spark plug wire boot works for me..

Is Remflex a good gasket for that price? I heard they are expensive and pretty tough when using it with the stage 8 locking bolts. But I'll probably do the same header gasket setup as you if it been working for you.

And if you just told me an hour sooner on that grease. I already sent my $135 order to summit and it'll have to wait until my next order because i don't want to pay shipping on a $4 item.

You can get the di-electric grease at most any parts/hardware store.

Yep, those plugs are fine. And the new wires should come with a small pack of grease. If not, as HeyYou stated, it can be easily purchased local.

Ok, I'll check into NAPA when i go into town next. And i went ahead and added them Autolites to my buying list.

Total is 152 with everything and i think they have a 5% code still going on.

Plenum plate is ordered btw.
