Need Help With Full Tune Up!
Regarding the timing chain, Merc didn't recommend the OEM one, the stock one, he (and I) recommend the Mopar Double Roller one. It is also adjustable, but you won't need to do that.

Haha yeah that's what I meant. I saved that website to my favorites awhile ago when merc was helping me.
I'm just going to go ahead and let him install the Cloyes set and when it wears out, I'll get that Mopar set.

*Update*
He called tonight and said he was working on the rockers and timing chain. He said its the cleanest engine he saw for a vehicle with 116,500 miles.
That always makes you feel good. He just ran into a broken off bolt on the rear of the intake. But it won't be a big problem he said.
Can't wait till it's all done!

He tore the plenum apart and said it was blown in 3 places. So I should definitely see a difference with that alone fixed. He's getting all that back together and the tune up parts on today. Hopefully I'll have it back by the middle of the week.
So all he needs after today will be my headers and cat.
