Default small air hose looks like it was cut. please read!!

so i just put sea foam in my 97 1500. i drove it pretty hard for 10 miles, got back to my house popped the hood to listen for a smoother idle ect. i heard a "blowing air" sound. i found it, its on the passenger side, coming from the rear side of the block, from a splitter and through a gromet into the firewall. there is another small line coming up from under the weather striping and it looks like its been cut clean. i have no idea, i never noticed this before, its hard to think sea foam could cause a clean cut. i have pictures im going to upload when my internet stops acting up. thanks ahead of time.

I think the one running thru the grommet goes to the vacuum reservoir under the cowl. The other line running in thru the a/c line should go to the HVAC control head. (most of the vents are vacuum operated.)

Do your vents work? Cruise? 4x4 engage properly?

The only air setting that works is defog(blows at windshield and feet), 4x4 and cruise work fine. Should I just connect the two lines with some tape and call it done?

Yep, that's a check valve. You might see if you can find a truck at the junkyard that has that intact and replace it.

Also, your heater core bypassed? lol

Don't use tape.... just get a piece of rubber line with the right inside diameter. local parts store probably sells it by the foot.

Windshield washer line should fit, just cut an inch off it and use it to splice the vac line.
