No, it's running fine now. All it needed was for the fault to make contact. So I put some cardboard in between the silicone and the plate and it worked.

Already drove it around the block and there were no hiccups.

I wonder how long that's going to last though.

Exactly. Replace it now, while it's convenient, rather than have it crap out on you when you need it most.

So the comp did eventually crap out and I replaced it recently. But there's no spark now.

I changed the coil and still no luck.

Where does the coil get its signal from?

Crank Sensor.

Did the new PCM ever work at all? Wouldn't be the first time someone got a bad one. Not like they are new or anything. The ones you get from the parts stores are reman....

New pcm never worked.

So if the crank sensor is good then that leaves the comp at fault?

There is a resistance test for the crank sensor, procedure is in the Service Manual.

If it never worked with the new PCM, try a different one.

I couldn't find the test I only found mention of the sensor under ignition control?
