Do you know if something should be plugged in here?

I think it's the purge solenoid. If you follow the big hose it goes to the evap canister under the truck , pass side. Must be an 01. I think.

Not the cause of a NO BUS. It's a plug for something you don't have, probably a front wheel speed sensor.

Unplug the crank sensor, cycle the key and see if the NO BUS goes away.
Any idea on how to get to the crank sensor? Is it just below the distributer on the rim of the bell housing? I cant even get my hand to it.

Some get to it from under the truck, others just have to go from the top, taking off the valve cover helps some reach it.

Okay, first disconnect the battery. Next in the main underhood electrical center (where all your fuses are) you need to unbolt and clean the main harness positive AND the ground. next, there is a ground under the hood that's located all by itself on the driver's side next to the top radiator support, same thing, unbolt it, clean it and reinstall. It is a small gauge wire. Clean the ground to engine too while your at it. Use a wire brush or even a bit of sandpaper to get a good connection. reinstall and coat with dielectric grease. Reconnect battery and it will never do the no bus thing ever again. You will probably notice it runs better too.

Default just an update

I finally located the crank sensor which stands upright, to the lower/rear/passenger side, of the distributer. I had to unplug the wires on the dist. To get my hands on the sensor. Sadly, get my hand on it was all i could manage. I couldnt get the sensor unplugged at that point. I had to button her back up with out trying the crank sensor trick. As i lick my wounds, i'm thinking of getting a tuner like superchips to fix my pcm. Oh, and cleanning the grounds didnt work for me.

Sounds like you found the oil psi sending unit not the ckps or maybe you did find it.

Anyway I thought this might give you a better idea where to feel for it.

Thanks found a leak and a badly worn rotor. Changed caliper and rotor now, brakes feel solid, though lights are still on.

Oil pressure sensor. Need to move the red locking tab before it will release.
