Default p0037 heater circuit low post cat sensor

well, replaced both o2s and im still getting p0037. i can clear the code, and it will pop up immidiately.

what could cause this? any way to fix it?

Wiring issue. If you don't have it already, get the 01 service manual, and check out the wiring diagrams for the sensors. Sounds like you have a break somewhere.

Would make complete sense... clear the code at 9 this am and ive beeb idling for the last almost hour and its still off. Guess going a few months without a sensor made it go bonkers!

Looks like im going to be pulling the engine harness soon. Codes keep coming back... kinda lost on this one...

What pcm are you using I don't remember? The 5.2 and you had it flashed for the 5.9 or a 5.9 pcm that was flashed.

i have my original 5.2 pcm, and just used the sct to tune it for the 5.9

So I have a odd suggestion for you to try, put a 195 stat back in the motor, three other people have been chasing the same problem, they changed out parts just like you and it never solved their problem. I suggested to try the 195 stat and none of them have the codes back. If you have the 91 tune in the truck back it off to the base one when you put in the 195.

Sounds odd but worth a try and it's cheap and ez to do.

gonna pull the engine harness on my next day off, which is monday. ill look into frayed, or burnt through wires. hopeing its none of those. if it is, ill cut em, and splice in new wire. oh well, itll get fixed soon enough.
