So far as I know, there is no way for oil to get into the cab of your truck, unless you have a mechanical pressure gauge in there. There is no plumbing of any type of oil in the cab.

well i read a couple things saying that in could be the intake manifold gaskets causing it, but i replaced that a couple weeks ago. like i said the oil is in this small black pipe at the bottom of the dash, but i just cant figure out why or how and i as i know off i don't have a mechanical pressure gauge

Check the rear seal on the intake. (yeah, I know, fun fun.....) It *might* be blowing around and making its way in thru the heater air intake. (or, you could just drop the blower motor, and see if there is oil in there..... only three screws, and an electrical connector. easier to get to as well...)

Is the seal at the back of the hood on the cowl still in place?

^ Going to be checking on that next. ( blower motor )

Not a 2nd gen...but looks like similar symptoms. They are saying bad heater core. The only thing is I know it's not coolant coming out of that vent. Which is what they are also saying would be the cause that condensation on the window.

No oil in the heater core, at least, not under normal circumstances.... (and things would have to be REALLY abnormal for it to get there.)

What color is it?

A/C system has oil in it, maybe it has a leak in a/c core.

^ That is what i was thinking. It might be a small enough leaks and since you are not paying attention to the ac system it could be doing that to you. Dont forget when you turn your defrosters on the a/c system cycles to dehumidify.

is the climate controls not run off the vacuum line coming off the intake? is it not possible for oil to make its way through this line if his plenum gasket is shot?

^ We replaced the plenum gasket at the end of Dec. That's what I thought was the problem first. Little background info. We bought it about a year ago, and noticed this issue pretty soon. The truck doesn't get driven much right now. (Waiting on my son to get his license) I thought the plenum gasket fixed the problem, but when I drove it yesterday, the problem had come back. Probably less than 100 mile have been put on the truck since the repair. I don't want to think I messed up the repair, but I suppose it's possible. Just looking for other possible culprits before we tear the engine apart again.
