Everything I've found online is pointing in that direction. Have you ever had to change one? If so, is it a pain?

It was the lock cylinder. I took it out and it fell into a few pieces. Swapped that and the switch out and it started right up. Thank y'all for your help. I really appreciate it.

How'd it go? I haven't had the displeasure of having to delve into the column yet.

Hey if a girl can do it you can lol it wasn't to bad. When I got the cylinder out and it fell into pieces I wasn't sure if it was supposed to or not so I ran down and got a new one. It was pretty easy. I had it changed in less than 30 minutes (that including my trip to the part store).

It would take me 30 minutes to get to the parts store.
