I've moved everything and can't seem to find it. Only thing that moves are the drag link and the tie rod rotate and the pitman arm has a little up and down movement. Could the pitman arm make a clunk over a speed bump?
Shocks are tight and to torque and I got my brother to turn the wheel while I was under there and the pitmam arm shifts up and then back down when turned. Also if I move it up and down the sound is real similar to what I hear over bumps. Think I found the source. How do I tell if it's the pitmam arm or the gear box?
Sorry for taking so long guys. I tried recording the pitman arm back and fourth with my brother turning the wheel but it doesn't really look like it's moving... I also recorded me moving the drag link up and down so the clunk noise is audible but you can't really see the movement either (I can still post them if it helps). I think it's the pitman arm itself though. It's $30 at my local O'Reilly. How hard is a pitman arm to change?
