Getting it off the steering box is the hardest part. I would be hitting it with chemicals a couple times a day, for a few days before you actually try and change it.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but by the time you got home the ball joint end has worn out. The fab-crap bar is designed to be used with there drop bracket. Way to many threads exposed I would not drive it like that.

My ball joints? The track bar hasn't given me any problems. Wouldn't the "adjustable" part of the adjustable track bar be pointless if I needed a bracket? Come to find out that my pitman arm isn't what's making the clunk noise either. Took it to my friend who works at a local off road shop and he said it seems fine. Shook the truck around and took him 2min to find the source. My new Rough Country shocks... Apparently they are notorious for bad bushings. Well mine were allowing the shock to bounce around freely at the bottom eye part of the front shock. Called Rough Country and they sent me new bushings. Didn't fix the problem because the hole in the bushings are about 1/4" to large for the bolt. Allowing quite a bit of play, enough so that the shock housing hits the axle and causes the clunk I've been trying to find. My friend advised me to get new shocks and return the rough country's. Guess you get what you pay for at $39 a piece.
