Any t-case from a 1500 from 94-97 with a v-8, and auto, will bolt right in. 98 and up will also bolt in, but, the shift pattern is different, and, they have no provision for the VSS, so, your speedometer won't work...... (so basically, 98 and up really won't work.)

Think driveshaft length may be a problem, and possibly the mounting flange for the front driveshaft..... No clue if the tailshaft will swap over, but, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Front driveshaft will bolt up. But may be too long.

No idea about the tail housing

When I changed over to the 241DLD I had no driveshaft length or flange problems what so ever. Nothing need to be changed at all 100% bolt in job. I had to shorten the rear Ds because of the 60 install.

This might help

Left xcase in photo is a 231DLD out of a 96 1500 with a 46RE auto, one on the right is a 241DLD out of a 95 1500 with a 46RH auto. These do not interchange due to the input hub/shaft length.

241 is a physically larger case, wider chain, more gears in the planetaries, basically, it is a heavier duty t-case.
