Has anyone tried to replace the slinky suspension in the front of their d2500 with leaf springs? id like to know where to get templates for the leaf spring hangere set up or do i need to come up with my own. i have a dana 44 leaf spring front axle set up,,, and a np 203 transfer case.

 

I think one member did that with a 4x2.... there was a thread around here for it somewhere.

Wonder if you could just cut some spring hangars off the back of a donor frame, and weld/rivet/bolt them to the front??? (shackles go to the front of the spring in this case.)
