flexplate & torque converter
Does the flex plate have to be installed in a certain position? As in a certain way for the cam or crank sensor to pick up where it is or will the ecu do that for me?
An how many times does the torque converter have to drop to be in the correct position I think I counted twice?

The flex plate bolt pattern goes on one way, in other words the holes will only line up in one way. Pick up break points won't change.
Sorry I don't understand your last question. The TC is pushed away from the drive plate when removing the engine or transmission. Upon re-installation, pull the TC toward the drive plate, make sure it spins freely centering the TC hub in the crank shaft, find where all the holes line up and torque to 24' lbs. (if I remember correctly)

Dodge put the starter ring gear on the torque converter for some strange reason. I do not pretend to understand why.......
Turn the t/c any direction, doesn't matter, don't torque the bolts down right away though, put them in slightly less than finger tight, and make sure all of them line up, and thread in, then just go around one more time, and torque them to spec.
