Ill be doing a swap on my 1994 1500 I have bought everything that I need besides wiring and computer the trans came out of a 1995 so both were obd1 and I was told I wont have computer issues is this true?

Your auto trans still has torque converter clutch, and O/D solenoid. Those will both set codes, and leave your CEL on.
